The D-Luxe tank strap EVO is a strap that holds your hoses in place on a dive cylinder or scooter. On sidemount and stage cylinders in particular, it stops the regulator hose and pressure gauge from twisting or dangling, so your configuration stays tidy for the whole dive.
How does the tank strap EVO work?
The strap is a 40 mm wide SLIM band in black rubber that closes around the cylinder. Its shape and stitching give even tension, so hoses stay where you put them without twisting or sliding.
A curved tab on the strap is easy to grab with thick neoprene or drysuit gloves, even in the dark or in tight spaces. That makes it quick to stow or release a hose underwater.
Which size do I need?
The size depends on your cylinder diameter:
- 7 L steel (also 8.5 L): 140 mm diameter
- 80 cuft aluminium (11.1 L): 184 mm diameter

Care
Rinse the strap with fresh water after diving in salt water and let it dry out of the sun. That keeps the rubber and stitching in good shape.
Frequently asked questions
Strap or bungee: what is the difference?
A loose rubber band or bungee is cheap, but hard to handle with gloves and it can slip or snap. The EVO is sized for your cylinder and has a tab to work it, so it behaves more predictably.
How many straps do I need per cylinder?
For sidemount most divers use one per cylinder to stow the long hose or the gauge hose. If you want to keep more hoses tidy, for example on a stage cylinder, you can fit two.
Does it fit a scooter?
Yes, but a scooter usually has a different diameter than a dive cylinder. Order a made to order strap for it so the length is exactly right.
