RAID Deep 40 (Trimix) Diver
Are you ready to dive deeper and broaden your horizons? The RAID Deep 40 (Trimix) course is specifically designed to develop your knowledge and skills, enabling you to plan and execute deeper dives safely and confidently. This training emphasizes meticulous planning, thorough preparation, and reducing stress and confusion, ensuring that you and your team can fully enjoy a unique diving experience.
This course can also be taken with the Trimix option. In this case, you will receive an introduction to diving with Trimix, and the last two dives will be conducted using a Trimix blend.
Entry Requirements
The course is open to certified divers who hold at least a RAID Explorer 30 certification or an equivalent.
What will you learn during the course?
This specialty provides both theoretical and practical skills, focusing on:
- The history and motivation behind deep diving.
- Proper assembly and maintenance of personal and specialized equipment for deep diving.
- The physics and physiology that affect deep diving.
- Advanced planning procedures to manage your dives efficiently and safely.
- Practical techniques to further enhance and apply your knowledge and skills.
Course Content
Theory
The course begins with an online theoretical section, where you will gain in-depth knowledge about the technical aspects of deep diving. Upon completing the online exam, a workshop will be organized. This workshop will summarize the key theoretical points, answer any questions, clarify challenges encountered in quizzes and exams, and delve deeper into the theory.
Practical Sessions
The practical part includes four open water dives, where you will apply the knowledge gained and further develop your skills. For these dives, it is assumed that you already have good control of your buoyancy and trim techniques. If additional practice dives are needed, these can be scheduled at an additional cost.
