Course Content
The course combines online theory with an in-person session led by your instructor, covering essential topics such as:
- Using nitrox blends with an oxygen content of 22%-40%.
- Planning dives with a maximum PO2 of 1.4 bar and a contingency PO2 of 1.6 bar.
- Causes and effects of oxygen toxicity and how to avoid them.
- Safely analyzing the oxygen content in your nitrox blend.
- Correctly labeling nitrox cylinders and maintaining a nitrox logbook.
- The benefits of enriched air for recreational divers.
The course includes 2 training dive with nitrox, giving you the chance to apply your new knowledge in the water.
Requirements
- You must be certified as a RAID Open Water 20 diver or equivalent.
- Minimum age: 12 years.
