TECLINE SIDE 16 (Side Mount 16 Kg)
The Tecline Side 16 is the perfect configuration for both the recreational and more professional sidemount diver. It is based on the classic 'bat wing' style system used by so many side-mount divers for its superior trim and streamlining.
The wing and harness form a single integrated set with four built-in weight pockets. With the Tecline Side 16, the shoulder straps, hip belt and crotch strap can be adjusted separately.
The Tecline Side 16 features:
- Tecline Side 16 Wing with a lifting capacity of 16 kg and an extremely robust back / top panel.
- DIR style, soft strap belt.
- Integrated four-pocket weight system (total for 10kg), distributing weight over the diver's back to allow for an ideal trim position. These pockets are also placed slightly outward to provide a lower and more streamlined profile.
- Two 2kg storage bags are also included (for additional 4kg weight if needed).
- A total of 19 kg weight is possible if two 4.5 kg storage compartments (extra) are used instead of the supplied 2 kg decorative bags.
- Strike plate is attached, included in the kit, but can be removed if required.
- 40cm corrugated inflator hose that attaches to either side of the BCD (a 50cm wave hose is included for taller divers or as a spare).
- 2 air dump valves on the underside of the wing, protected under the rear panel and on the opposite side of the inflator.
